I hope you enjoyed your time in the mountains as much as I did. My ending gift from the conference, after we finished the editing bootcamp, was a hike to Cecret Lake were I was graced with the presence of a Moose calmly chomping on willows while standing in the lake.

The conference this year has a new feature: spotlight panel papers have been made available before the conference for attendees to review.

2013 Conference

The 18th Alta Conference on Argumentation will be held August 1-4, 2013, at the Snowbird complex in Alta, Utah. Co-sponsored by the National Communication Association, the American Forensics Association, and the University of Utah, the Conference brings together scholars interested in all aspects of argumentation. Papers selected from the conference program will be edited and published following the conference.
